ABOUT OUR BASKETBALL CAMP

The focus behind the the development.

Located in Simsbury, CT, the Pringle Skill Development welcomes campers age
12 and older to participate in the programs and activities. Parents can rest assured that their kids are under the supervision of capable, certified, and caring counselors. Every camper at Pringle Skill Development is guaranteed an amazing and unique experience in a safe and FUN atmosphere.

DAVID PRINGLE

Program Director and Founder of PSD

David is a native of New Haven, CT.  Growing up in New Haven, David was all-state at both football and basketball.  After Wilbur Cross, David went on to attend Westminster School as a postgraduate.  At Westminster, David was a 3-Sport varsity athlete in football, basketball, and lacrosse. David made All-League in both football and basketball. He also averaged 27ppg, 7rpg, 5apg, and 2stls a game.


David played division one football at Tennessee State University, then he finished at Stonehill College.  At Stonehill, David was a 3-year starter and was apart of several clubs. During his time at Westminster, David then received his Master's Degree at Wesleyan University.  Currently at Westminster, David is an associate director of admissions, advisor, dorm head, mentor, and the head prep basketball coach. 


As the head coach at Westminster School, David has placed several student-athletes in great colleges for basketball.  After Westminster, student-athletes have attended colleges like Williams, Connecticut College, Hartwick, Franklin Pierce, Dominican, Hobart and William Smith, St. Lawrence, Eastern Illinois, Austin Peay, Claremont McKenna, Christian Brothers, Post University, Franklin Pierce, and Davis & Elkins.
